School to Work
The Cambria County Association for the Blind and Handicapped offers a School to Work Program in cooperation with various high schools. The program helps students with special needs prepare to hold a job and meet the challenges of the adult world.

The School to Work program provides pre-vocational and vocational training in a structured setting. Young people in the program strive to develop the kinds of skills, work habits, appropriate behaviors and attitudes they will need to make a successful transition from a school environment to a professional workplace, such as a factory, restaurant, office or hospital.

Learning activities are designed and customized to meet the unique needs of each individual student. The goal is to help students maximize their future employment potential.
